SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A woman was indicted Wednesday by a Chatham County Grand Jury for a September 2024 hit-and-run that killed a man on Derenne Avenue.
Mikeara Gibbons allegedly struck and killed Jonathan Dover, who was riding his bike, with her vehicle on Sept. 8, 2024.
Gibbons was indicted on charges of homicide by vehicle in the first degree, hit and run, tampering with evidence and speeding.
Gibbons reportedly did not stop or return to the scene of the collision and is accused of replacing the windshield of her car, cited as an intent to obstruct the prosecution of herself…
