WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – With your First Alert Forecast remaining skimpy on rain chances until next week, temps are the focus: mild 70s for highs Thursday, chilly inland 40s and coastal 50s for lows Thursday night, another round of pleasant 70s for highs Friday, and toastier 80s for the weekend afternoons. Many inland spots, like White Lake, where the WECT Highway 6 Team is showcasing the annual Water Festival, even have a shot to crack 90 by Sunday afternoon!
This week will host one more shot of chill with upper 40s and lower 50s likely first thing Friday. After that, expect a big warmup worthy of a beach, lake, or pool weekend! pic.twitter.com/4lM7OcWfVl
