OMAHA, Neb. (KOLN) – A Smithsonian exhibit documenting Green Book destinations across the country made its final stop at the Durham Museum in Omaha, highlighting places in Nebraska where Black travelers found safety during segregation.
The Green Book listed businesses and hotels that were safe for Black travelers to visit during an era when many were shut out due to the color of their skin.
