A Broomfield City Council vote regarding the highly watched Town Square project was postponed to later this year amid a request from the developer team about financing for the potentially over-$200 million development.
The planned Broomfield Town Square development could sit on a roughly 39-acre site north of 120th Avenue and east of Main Street, potentially including hundreds of apartment units, some townhomes, and retail, dining and work space, according to the city’s website. That could include the redevelopment of the former Safeway location.
In its Tuesday night meeting, the council was slated to vote on an extension of time requested by the Broomfield Town Square developer team, but the vote has been postponed, possibly until mid-June, according to City and County Manager Jennifer Hoffman in the meeting…
