An Oregon studio has released a new trailer for “Wildwood,” a stop-motion film set in Portland and based on a story created by a local folk-rock power couple.
Laika Studios is located in Hillsboro and is best known for its stop-motion films, including “Coraline,” “ParaNorman,” “The Boxtrolls” and “Kubo and the Two Strings.”
Its newest film, “Wildwood,” was not only made in Oregon, but is also set in Oregon and based on a fantasy series created by Decemberists frontman Colin Meloy and his wife Carson Ellis, who illustrates the band’s posters and album covers.
