Dental student files civil rights suit against Roseman University, alleging retaliation after reporting harassment

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) — A dental student has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against Roseman University, alleging that administrators discriminated and retaliated against her after she reported that a white male classmate was creating a hostile environment.

The lawsuit was filed in federal court for the District of Utah by Yuyang Qiu, an Asian American, female student of Chinese national origin. She was a second-year dental student at Roseman University of Health Sciences, and the University and four administrators at the school are named in the complaint…
