KENT, Ohio — The Portage County Sheriff is investigating a series of stolen vehicles and attempted vehicle thefts that targeted Kia and Hyundai models, with the incidents happening between April 17 to May 14.
During this time, a total of seven vehicles were stolen with three attempts in the Kent and Ravenna areas.
“A juvenile suspect was identified and subsequently interviewed,” according to a press release that was posted on Facebook by the Portage County Sheriff’s Office. “The suspect admitted to involvement in the vehicle thefts and the attempted thefts.”…
