Full Circle Doughnuts opened its doors on Thursday in Alabama, serving rich, fluffy brioche-style doughnuts in flavors such as maple sea salt, cereal milk, chocolate sprinkle and OG vanilla.
Burgers, sandwiches and breakfast items were on the menu, as well, as customers flocked to a familiar location in the greater Birmingham area.
The mood was celebratory at the bright, welcoming eatery at 1726 28th Ave. South in Homewood. Staffers said the restaurant was busy on Thursday, as they sold out of several doughnut varieties — especially Boston cream — and made more for visitors from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
