An Ocala woman has filed a lawsuit against The Market of Marion, alleging she suffered permanent injuries after slipping on dog feces while visiting the popular flea market.
Attorneys representing Linda Maloney filed the lawsuit against The Market of Marion, Inc., on April 29, in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County.
The lawsuit stems from an incident that allegedly occurred on January 9 of this year. According to the filing, Maloney was visiting the facility, which is located at 12888 U.S. Hwy 441 in Belleview, when she encountered a slippery substance on the interior flooring.
