PennDOT has notified thousands of newly licensed drivers in Pennsylvania that they must retake their road test or risk losing their driving privileges. The announcement comes after the transportation agency discovered that some of its road test exams were not administered correctly.
According to an Action News 6abc report, letters are being sent to affected drivers notifying them that their skills test was not administered in accordance with PennDOT standards.
Approximately 2,500 drivers who recently earned licenses are affected and must retake either the skills and knowledge tests or revert to a learner’s permit and retake both exams after PennDOT found testing did not meet standards…
