RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A former contractor who embezzled $1.5 million from an annual charity fundraising program in Virginia will spend four years behind bars.
On Wednesday, May 13, 43-year-old Linda Natelle Brown of Houston, Texas, was sentenced to four years in prison after more than $1.5 million had been reported missing by the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC).
