The field of nursing is not for those looking to take it easy. More identity than simple profession, nursing is often associated with the concepts of compassion and care — and those traits are absolutely on the money.
Compassion alone, though, is not enough to carry would-be nurses through a rigorous education and testing process, followed by sometimes-harrowing exposure to patients and maladies of all kinds.
