SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WTVO) — Prosecutors say a Schaumburg man tortured and sexually assaulted a woman for 7 hours before strangling her to death, all while recording the entire attack.
According to the Schaumburg Police Department, officers were called for a welfare check at a home in the 1700 block of W. Weathersfield Way on the night of April 30, with police saying the caller expressed concern for the well-being of a woman named Katherine Torbick, 43, at that address.
Police said there had been a report of domestic battery at that same address one month earlier, and officers had a pending arrest warrant for the suspect in that case, Kevin D. Motykie, 56, who also lived at the home…
