DRAPER, Utah (ABC4) — Police have recovered the body of a paraglider in Corner Canyon after the paraglider fell around 75-80 feet earlier today.
According to Draper Police Department, they were searching for a paraglider on Friday morning, with assistance from the Department of Public Safety Aero Bureau. The paraglider, an adult male, and several others had gone up around the Orson Scott Trailhead in Corner Canyon.
The deceased individual took off first, when the wind appeared to drop out. Police say he fell between 75 and 80 feet, and that his friends called in the incident to emergency services.
