ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – What began as a documentary about wheelchair rugby transformed into something far more personal for Rockford Marine veteran and founder of Oscar Mike Foundation, Noah Currier.
“Sum Function,” an award-winning documentary premiering May 30 at Hard Rock Casino Rockford, follows the Oscar Mike Militia, the nation’s only all-veteran wheelchair rugby team, both on and off the court.
“On the surface, it could be called a sports documentary, but it’s far from it,” Currier said. “I think it’s a deeply human story.”
