COLUMBIA, S.C. — As our upper-level ridge and Bermuda high build in, a southwest wind will begin to crank in the heat this afternoon.
A few clouds will drift overhead this weekend, but rain chances remain extremely limited.
It’ll be a great weekend for a dip in the pool or a trip to the beach, with highs climbing into the upper 80s and lower 90s.
More afternoons in the low, and possibly even mid 90s, are expected through at least Wednesday of next week.
Humidity levels will slowly rise as well, but it still won’t feel overly oppressive for mid-May standards…
