ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Hundreds of Asheville-Buncombe Technology Community College graduates are celebrating after walking the stage on Saturday, May 16, to receive their diplomas.
Loved ones filled the Harrah’s Cherokee Center in downtown Asheville.
“There’s so much work that goes into it we have over 100 volunteers helping get the faculty, staff, students where they need to be and its scurry scurry but when we walk out that first time and we see the pride in our students faces and the pride in the family’s faces thats fantastic, but probably my very favorite is when I hear someone yell ‘that’s my mom’, ‘way to go dad’ and that’s why we do what we do,” said John Gossett, President of Asheville-Buncombe Technology Community College…
