NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk State women’s track and field team finished third at the MEAC Outdoor Championships on Saturday afternoon.
Howard won the meet with 235 points, while Morgan State finished second with 119 points. Norfolk State totaled 111 points.
Lexa Hunter earned the Spartans’ first medal of the day, clearing 3.40 meters in the pole vault to place second. Emma Svetiev added points with a fourth-place finish after clearing 3.20 meters.
