NORTHBOROUGH – At approximately 8:32 p.m. on May 10, a Northborough detective observed a male driving a vehicle on Bearfoot Road, and had reason to believe that the operator – later identified as Stephen Faro – was in possession of narcotics. A traffic stop was made.
Through an investigation, Jocko – a canine officer with the Hudson Police Department – conducted a sniff of the vehicle. Jocko allegedly showed areas of interest in the vehicle, and, according to police documents, a subsequent search revealed two baggies with a “large amount of a white rocklike substance.” The substance was identified as crack cocaine, and Faro was placed under arrest shortly thereafter.
While taking inventory of the vehicle, the Northborough Police Department allegedly located other baggies that contained a purple powdery substance and a white rocklike substance. The purple powder was identified as fentanyl, according to court documents. Faro also had approximately $881 in cash…
