CINCINNATI (WXIX) -Tuesday is a First Alert Weather Day as storms are expected to enter the Tri-State, according to the FOX19 NOW Weather Team.
Heavy rain and frequent lightning are expected. Damaging wind, large hail, and a tornado or two are possible with severe storms.
A line of thunderstorms will be coming in from the west, creating a greater chance of severe weather west of Cincinnati.
The storms are expected to weaken as they pass through the Tri-State, though with enough heat and humidity, thunderstorms are expected for majority of the region.
Areas west of the city can expect nearly one inch of rainfall, with higher amounts possible in strong or severe thunderstorms.
