3 Men Went Missing From the Same Pennsylvania Town — Only One Has Been Found Alive

A Pennsylvania family finally has answers — but not the ones they hoped for.

The York County Coroner’s Office confirmed on May 15 that human remains discovered in a wooded area near East Middle Street in Hanover belong to 39-year-old Mark Hicks, who had been missing since June 2024.

Found Nearly a Year Later

The remains were first discovered on April 16 in a wooded area near the 400 block of East Middle Street.

Dental records confirmed the identity. The coroner ruled his cause of death as asphyxiation, and the manner of death was listed as suicide.

The Night He Disappeared

Hicks was last seen leaving his brother’s home in Hanover at 5:00 a.m. on June 22, 2024.
