MEMPHIS, Tenn. – As temperatures rise, so historically does crime across Memphis, including shootings. But while the seasonal trend is familiar, community leaders said they’re determined to change the narrative this summer.
FOX13 spoke with organizations working on the front lines, as well as residents, about what it will take to push back against the yearly spike in violence. While there is concern, many said what stands out even more is a renewed sense of urgency and action.
