TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Toledo Police Department marked a major milestone Saturday, celebrating 100 years at the Safety Building on North Erie Street.
The current home of the department opened to the public May 15, 1926. Before that, Toledo police were headquartered at a station on Superior Street.
