ARONWOLD, Pa. (WHTM) — While Pennsylvania may not claim to be the gold capital of the United States, it stacks up in the top five of most frequent host sites for major tournaments.
“These are old golf courses, they’re seasoned golf courses, and these are tough golf courses,” Governor Josh Shapiro (D) said in a Saturday visit to the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Course in Delaware County. “We’re putting out best foot forward and we deserve a lot more respect than we get, but it’s alright.”
