MILWAUKEE – A Milwaukee man who was charged with hit-and-run resulting in death in connection with a crash on the city’s south side back in May 2025 was sentenced to prison.
Raul Herrera, 42, pleaded guilty to the charge back in April 2026.
In court on Tuesday, May 12, a judge sentenced Herrera to eight years in prison and seven years of extended supervision, with 366 days credit.
A restitution hearing is scheduled for July 10, 2026.
