WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A Wichita woman says she spent weeks trying to get answers about a utility pole in her backyard that she believed was unsafe, only to see it removed hours after she contacted FactFinder 12.
Aubrie McCoin said the pole rocked back and forth in the wind and worried her family during storms. She said she called utility companies looking for help, but was told the pole was not owned by the companies she contacted.
“We have this pole here that is about to fall over. Evergy says it’s not their pole anymore. Cox says it’s not their pole, they just use it. So nobody’s claiming it,” McCoin said…
