CANTON, Ohio — A 63-year-old man from Massillon, identified as George W. Smith, has died after police say he was in a vehicle that was struck by a train in Canton.
“The victim is believed to have been trying to exit the vehicle when it was struck,” according to new details released Monday from Canton Police Chief John Gabbard.
