Drunk man shows up to sheriff’s office to pick up friend after DWI arrest, deputies say

Montgomery County, NY (WRGB) — A 25-year-old Hagaman man who drove to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to pick up someone being released after a DWI arrest was arrested himself after deputies said they suspected he was intoxicated and discovered his driver’s license had been revoked.

25-year-old Antone Glionna of Hagaman, New York, was arrested May 16, 2026, after he arrived at the sheriff’s office and drove into a restricted area instead of using the public parking area, according to Sheriff Jeffery T. Smith and members of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy sheriff contacted Glionna and suspected he was intoxicated. Standardized field sobriety tests were administered, and Glionna was arrested for DWI, authorities said…
