YOLO COUNTY, Calif. — Strong winds sweeping through Yolo County on Sunday left thousands of homes and businesses without power, caused trees to fall, and forced some Davis businesses to shut down.
The City of Davis Fire Department responded to calls throughout the day, including a 12-year-old with minor injuries after being hit by a tree branch while riding a bike. Fire crews also responded to a tree that fell onto a home.
