BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — The Burton Fire District responded to a call of a boat fire Sunday afternoon. The vessel was located in the backyard of a home on Castle Rock Rd. and was completely engulfed when they arrived.
The fire was in danger of spreading to a shed and mobile home. Firefighters quickly contained the blaze before it spread, however, the structures sustained heat damage.
There was no on in the mobile home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported and the fire is believed to have started but some trash burning nearby in a barrel…
