WEST JORDAN, Utah (KUTV) — A 630-acre master-planned community under development in far western West Jordan could eventually bring 2,800 homes to the area with a focus on water conservation and outdoor living.

Developers say about 170 homes have already been built as construction continues on the Terraine community.

Shay Wyatt with Terraine and Jake Meadows with the Wasatch Beekeepers Association spoke with ARC Salt Lake about the development’s sustainability goals and the role pollinators play in Utah’s environment.
