CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A man who had been charged in the 2017 Lincoln Homes homicide has received a nolle prosequi dismissal.
As previously reported by Clarksville Now, on April 13, 2017, Clarksville Police responded to a shots fired call at an Ernest Shelton Drive residence. Officers found 39-year-old Marcellus Flynn with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Tennova Healthcare Clarksville, where he was pronounced dead.
Nearly four years later, on Jan. 26, 2021, William Harvey Ellis, 32, was arrested and later charged with first-degree murder and possession of a weapon. Ellis was set to stand trial later this month on May 26…
