Gas prices remain above $4 for Virginians while tensions rise in Middle East

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — As tensions continue to rise in the Middle East, gas prices in Virginia and across the country remain above average, leading many to wonder when they might come down.

According to AAA, the current state average gas prices as of Monday, May 18, are $4.32 a gallon for regular unleaded, $4.77 for mid-grade, $5.15 premium and $5.55 for diesel.
