LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 19-year-old man who had more than 70 pounds of ketamine in his luggage faces a possible 20 years in prison after pleading guilty on Monday.
Nehemia Bayonne, a Southern California resident, arrived in Las Vegas at Harry Reid International Airport on Sept. 29, 2025, on a flight from London, and was routed to Customs for a baggage inspection, according to court documents. During the inspection, Customs and Border Protection officers found 32 “bricks” of ketamine, a schedule III controlled substance, split between two bags.
Bayonne pleaded guilty to one count of importing a controlled substance and one count of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada…
