After 30 years with the Campbell Union School District, Superintendent Shelly Viramontez has announced her retirement, effective June 30.
The district’ trustees voted May 14 to name Campbell’s Chief Improvement Officer Whitney Holton interim superintendent when the district searches for a replacement.
“Superintendent Viramontez has been our superintendent for the last 10 years,” said Board President Will Slade. “Her consistent leadership has been a major contributor to the success of the district.”…
