‘They were supposed to take care of us’ | Residents still searching for answers following Village Court North Apartments fire

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Nearly two years after a fire displaced more than a dozen residents at the Village Court North Apartments in Bowling Green, former tenants say they are still waiting for answers, and for promises of rebuilding to become a reality.

The June 12, 2024, fire forced 18 residents from their homes at the apartment complex, which is owned and operated by Harbor, a nonprofit that provides mental health and supportive housing services.
