ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A Rockford man is facing multiple charges after police say he made threats against an officer and resisted arrest during an incident at a local hotel.
Leland K. Hoffman, 42 was charged with threatening a police officer, resisting a peace officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct following the May 16 incident at the Red Roof Inn, 7434 E. State St., according to police.
Officers were called to the hotel shortly after 6 a.m. for a report of criminal trespass. A clerk reported an unregistered guest inside a room who needed to be removed, and the man was later identified as Hoffman…
