BELOIT, Wis. (WFRV) – An investigation is now underway after police responded to and found evidence of a shooting incident on early Sunday morning.
According to a release from the Beloit Police Department, officers responded at 4:34 a.m. to the 1800 block of Spruce Street for reports of shots fired.

Arriving officials canvassed the area and recovered evidence on Spruce Street between Jean Ellen Drive and Newfield Drive, confirming shots had been fired.
After speaking with several people in the neighborhood, police say a vehicle heading north was seen fleeing from the scene after the gunshots were heard. There are no reported injuries or property damage in relation to this incident…
