St. Louis charter school abruptly shuts down, leaving 100 students displaced

ST. LOUIS — Families at a downtown charter school are in a state of shock after the administration abruptly canceled the remainder of the academic year in a late-night announcement, leaving approximately 100 students completely displaced.

The St. Louis Voices Academy of Media Arts, or SLVA, located on Olive Street, issued an email to staff and families announcing the school’s closure.
