SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A Sioux Falls woman has been sentenced to federal prison following a conviction of Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance and Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering.
36-year-old Amanda Thompson was sentenced to five years in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
Thompson worked with others to obtain meth in Omaha during multiple trips before redistributing those drugs in Sioux Falls. She also sent drug proceeds through money wire transfers directly to people in Mexico…
