PORTLAND, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Portland man is facing multiple charges after police say he fled from deputies during a traffic stop and was later found near his car.
Portland Police were alerted by the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office on May 15 regarding a car that had reportedly fled during an attempted traffic stop, for failure to maintain its lane. Police say they later saw the car speeding onto Gateview Drive. Officers tried to catch up, but temporarily lost sight of the the car during the search.
