Decatur moves forward with Rock the South festival preparations

DECATUR, Ala. — The Decatur City Council approved two requests Monday tied to the upcoming Rock the South music festival as the city prepares to host the event for the first time.

Council members approved a resolution allowing AT&T to install a temporary cellular facility for the festival, along with a request for a special event retail liquor license.
