SUNLAND PARK, N.M (KFOX14/CBS4) — Residents of the Grove Community in Sunland Park are being advised to avoid Westside Drive between Country Club Road and Tierra Vista Lane after an unexploded ordnance was found in the area, according to authorities.
According to the City of Sunland Park Police, the device was located by a passerby on Monday and is asking residents to stay away “out of an abundance of caution” until further notice while crews assess and secure the scene.
