Close-Up Photos of RFK Jr. and Trumps Hands Spark Health Concerns

Health concerns are drawing increased attention following recent images of Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and President Donald Trump, focusing on the appearance of their hands. The two were photographed together at a White House event addressing prescription drug prices on Monday, with close-up shots revealing what some observers interpret as signs of age-related health issues.

In the detailed photos, the back of President Trump’s right hand appears to be covered with makeup, possibly to conceal bruising, while Kennedy’s hand shows redness and potential discoloration. These visual cues have sparked renewed speculation about the health status of both officials.

Journalist Aaron Rupar noted the stark difference between their hands on the social platform X, commenting on the condition of Trump’s hand. Responses from other users echoed concerns, with some describing the hands as appearing “necrotic” or “rotting,” reflecting a broader unease among viewers.

This development follows previous reports about President Trump’s health, including concerns over swollen ankles and bruising. Last year, White House physician Sean Barbabella disclosed that Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a vascular condition that causes poor blood circulation and swelling in the legs and ankles. The condition is generally considered manageable, and the president was prescribed an anti-inflammatory cream for treatment.

Regarding the bruised hand, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt attributed it to frequent handshaking combined with aspirin use, which she said causes consistent irritation. Leavitt emphasized that despite these issues, the president remains active and has made no lifestyle changes.

In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, President Trump addressed questions about his age and health directly. He asserted that his “health is perfect” and suggested the media often exaggerates concerns. Acknowledging that he is not a heavy sleeper, Trump downplayed the impact of his sleep habits on his overall vitality.

Last month, Trump remarked that he “has to be careful” when walking, a statement made while commenting on former President Joe Biden’s health. The president is scheduled for his next annual physical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on May 26, shortly before his 80th birthday, making him the oldest president in U.S. history.
