GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — You may have seen a post online circulating that claims Guilford County Schools (GCS) is closed for a week due to a claim of confirmed hantavirus within the district. But, this post is not legitimate.
The school district made a post on Tuesday morning that said the post contained “false information.” The post was made to look like a GCS post by an account using a very similar username.
