HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The attorneys representing the owners of 708 Bar and Grille are looking to have a nuisance lawsuit filed by the city of Huntsville thrown out.
The new court filing by those attorneys states many of the incidents the city calls a public nuisance happened after business hours.

The city of Huntsville shut the bar down in September 2025 after what it said were repeated instances of gun-related violence, drug activity and traffic disruption.
708 Bar and Grille owner Malcolm Gopher said he is hopeful for a fair trial.
