KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department said a 15-year-old boy was arrested for having an AR-style pistol.
KPD said Community Engagement Response Team officers spotted the boy with the pistol around 10:45 p.m. in the Five Points Apartment Complex in East Knoxville. When officers tried to stop him, KPD said he ran into an apartment on Taylor Homes Road.
KPD said the juvenile came out of the apartment a short time later and was detained for further investigation…
