Savannah native raises funds for blood cancer research with improv show

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Sam Mikell is using comedy to fight blood cancer.

The Savannah native has been nominated for Blood Cancer United’s Visionary of the Year and aims to raise $100,000 by May 30. Mikell is hosting a musical improv show Thursday to support the campaign.
