Lubbock police officer arrested, charged with falsifying records

A Lubbock police officer was arrested Tuesday afternoon, accused of falsifying her child’s birth record in what LPD’s chief says stemmed from a conflict with a love interest.

April Marie Mora, 38, was booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center on four counts of falsifying a birth certificate.
