LUBBOCK, Texas — Adriel Puig, 37, was arrested and charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor on Friday, May 15, after trying to receive explicit photos from an undercover agent posing as a 16-year-old male.
Court documents revealed that Puig was using the dating application, “Grindr”, and contacted a profile managed by the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division, acting as a 16-year-old male.
Court documents also revealed Puig was aware of the account belonging to an underage male and sent multiple messages and photos to the account, and asked the account to send explicit photos, but the account denied the request. Puig replied, “I just wanted to see,” when asked about the account, and offered advice on sending explicit photos.
